Although most people probably associate Flathead Lake with crystal clear waters, warm summer evenings and recreational opportunities (that has certainly been my experience!), I found this scene interesting because it seemed so different than what I had experienced on my last visit. The contrast between the dark, aggressive sky and the pure white snow gave this scene a definite strength. The blues in the foreground shadows and the warm burnt sienna highlights in the bushes give it a focal point
